Steven Martin – Opium Fiend

David speaks with author Steven Martin about his adventures in researching and writing his new book, Opium Fiend: A 21st Century Salve to a 19th Century Addiction. A life-long collector, Martin found interest in opium pipes and opium paraphernalia while on assignment in Southeast Asia. His collecting soon took a nasty turn once his interest in his collection’s use led him to a long, severe opium addiction.
