Lisa Birnbach – The Preppie
David speaks with Lisa Birnbach a maven of that most particular of American styles, “the preppie.” In 1980, Birnbach wrote a book that would be come a literary and stylistic phenomenon called, The Preppy Handbook. Now, 30 years later, she has put together an update to account for shifts in taste and advances in technology in a book called, True Prep.
