James Foley – Captured in Libya

Todd_Purdum-150x150David reruns his interview with James Foley, the GlobalPost journalist who was brutally murdered on August 19, 2014 by ISIS. The original interview ran exactly three years ago today and was on the subject of Foley’s captivity in Libya. It is a hard piece to listen to knowing what then happened to Foley but AM 1690 is running it as a tribute to his belief in the work of journalists to bring important stories to the world no matter the danger.
