Done shortly after 9/11, the special focused on untold stories of American soldiers and spies and featured interviews with Navy SEALS, a Marine tank commander, an Air Force A-10 pilot, an Army Ranger who was part of the Blackhawk Down incident and others. It also features the only TV interview done with the most-decorated spy in CIA history, Howard Hart.

David speaks with Hank Klibanoff, the former Managing Editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the newly appointed the James M. Cox Professor of Journalism at Emory University. He is also the author of the Pulitzer-prize winning history of journalists during the Civil Rights movement called The Race Beat. Hank discusses the recent relevation that the influential and highly placed civil rights photographer, Ernest Withers, was in fact an informant for the FBI.
